Write a book
Writing a book is one thing but actually self publishing it is another. In this cosmetically enhanced world everything has to look good – style should always be considered.
Based in a small village in the East Midlands we provide an unique course which covers all aspects of self publishing from laying out the book (the best software for you personally to use) typography and graphics through to uploading it to web servers or .PDF format.
With nearly twelve years experience as a dtp / graphics trainer in London and nearly ten as technology correspondent for Writers News the trainer Greta http://www.writersnews.co.uk/main/wm.asp has a unique insight into the technical techniques required in this type of project.
This is a one to one course although if you want to bring along someone else (perhaps from your writing circle we can always include them for a small additional price). The course includes a gourmet pub lunch and the training is done in a countryside setting (you can even hear the brook running in the background whilst you learn).
