Microsoft Word – paragraph formatting – keep paragraphs together
Using word processors such as Microsoft Word is no excuse for shoddy looking text. On the Microsoft Word Intermediate course we cover a range of methods to produce professional looking text.
Keep Paragraphs Together
Automatic page breaks can split up paragraphs of text in the wrong places – to rectify this select by highlighting the text then go to:
Format menu> Paragraph and select Line and Page Breaks tab
Select one of the following options
Keep Lines Together
stopping a page break inside a paragraph
Keep with Next
stops a page break between an active and the next paragraph
