Free DTP help
Lack of blog tips last week due to a quick visit to Devon. Weather not too good but food excellent – numerous Devon cream teas and fortunately or unfortunately (according to your point of view – plenty of scrumpy cider, direct from the distillery – wicked)
Anyway – having a problem with DTP software?
For this week, from Monday 1 October 07, I’m inviting you to write in with any DTP problems you might be having and I shall do my best to help out.
Free of charge – use the service guys – even if it’s just to see if you can catch me out.
Contact me by using the comments section in this post or email me direct on bloggin@homechoice.co.uk)
I am training most days this week but will keep an eye on the blog frequently so I can get the answer back to you ASAP.
Your answer returned, hopefully, within a couple of hours.

Hiya, do you think you could help me with a question? I would like to know how to change a DTP document into a Jpeg, I’m a bit of a dinosaur with publishing stuff.
Thanks

Hi Jacqueline
When you say DTP document I’m assuming you are talking about something such as an InDesign document –
All you need to do is go to the FILE menu and select Export from the list. In the ‘As Type’ (next to the bottom drop down arrow) select JPEG followed by clicking on the ‘Save’ button.
Hope that solves the problem – if not let me know.

Hiya thanks for the advice but when I go into the file menu the export is not highlighted so I am unable to click on this and yes I am talking a Design document. You really must come to Devon when the weather is nicer.
Regards
Jacqueline
